WHAT IS FUNBECAS?

Funbecas is a scholarship program for students, which aims to provide financial resources to support students with limited economic resources, but who at the same time also have excellent academic conduct, good performance, and above all a great desire to excel.
WHO AWARDS THE SCHOLARSHIP?
​
The Funbecas Scholarship is awarded by College Savings Club Of America. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation that helps provide critical care items to "high risk" children and adolescents in some of the most poverty stricken areas of the world.
WHAT DOES THE PROGRAM CONSIST OF?
​
This scholarship program consists of supplying the basic needs of students for their education, i.e. the purchase of school supplies, uniforms, transportation, and all those expenses involved in being in school; in this way, they can continue to be motivated with a good performance and academic performance.
WHAT IS THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS SCHOLARSHIP?
​
The objective of this scholarship is to provide financial support for students to continue and complete their studies, without fear of dropping out of school for lack of some basic but very important resources. We also seek to awaken a motivation to all students to generate good grades and be applied in their studies, in order to apply to this program; and provide opportunities with the delivery of this benefit at the educational level.
WHY ARE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR EDUCATION SO SIGNIFICANT?

The scholarships that are provided at the education level have great value and are very important for young people to acquire everything necessary and basic to help them complete their training cycle and be able to enter a university, college or trade school.
WHICH COUNTRIES ARE COVERED
​
Currently: United States and Colombia
WHO CAN HAVE ACCESS TO THE SCHOLARSHIP ACCORDING TO SCHOOL LEVEL?
​
Boys, girls, adolescents and young people who are attending the following grades:
​

Primary Basic Education.

High school.
-
Baccalaureate
-
Special education.
WHAT DOES THE SCHOLARSHIP COVER?
​
Financial aid amounts vary depending on your scholarship application.
SOME OF THE REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP ARE AS FOLLOWS:

Be a current student.
-
Demonstrable limited financial resources.

Demonstrate the desire and willingness to stay in school.

Have and maintain a good academic performance.

Have a grade point average above 8.0.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO APPLY FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP.

Copy of Certificate of Qualifications the year prior to the year you are applying for the scholarship.

Proof of good conduct, issued by the educational institution where you are currently studying.

A recent passport-size photograph.
-
Proof of salary issued by the company or proof of income of the family group.

If the responsible family member is self employed, they must documented proof of their income.

1 photocopy of the last utility bill: electricity, water, telephone, payment or rent of housing.

Applicants under 18 years of age, you must present a copy of the identity document and ID of the responsible person.
Note: if your child is not yet in elementary school, they can enroll early and when they reach kindergarten they will be considered.

Applications for the Funbecas program are accepted year-round for active students.
